CAD and Computing so far

 During my lessons with Charlie I have been introduced to a multitude of technical phrases and words that will help me to understand what everything means in the future. Many of the words were things I had heard before but never considered in practice.

My favourite part so far was editing a photo that I found from the internet (read: took from my dad's photography website). It was fun to get back into the swing of things with photoshop since I had previously used photoshop for the past two years during my GCSEs. It did feel a bit slow but I understand that not everyone in my class has ever used photoshop before so I knew I had to be patient. During my GCSEs my favourite thing to do would be to experiment with all the different adjustments I could make to give a photo a unique and captivating effect so I carried that onto my work on editing the picture.

Looking around me at different advertisements, posters and posts on the internet i can identify different methods they have used to create intrigue and bring the viewer in to think more deeply about their work. The work that i have been doing in class is , i think, vital for my future if i decide to become someone who works in marketing, promotion or photography, however, currently that is not what field i would like to go into in the future. Even so, i think it is an important skill set to have either way.
